About

Hi! I’m Jeanie Witcraft-Shiau, LCSW.

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here today.

I specialize in working with individuals and families who have sustained perinatal and postpartum mental, physical, and medical trauma.

My passion truly is Perinatal Mental Health.

Since mental illness can present differently during and after pregnancy, it needs to be handled with specialized skills.
As a trauma clinician, I assist parents and their families during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
My work also addresses the complexities of grief and loss that can occur for individuals and families navigating fertility, pregnancy, and birthing processes.

I enjoy working with individuals, and intimate or family relationships. On this spectrum, I work with a wide range of mental health crises, mood, behavioral, and trauma symptoms.

I use experiential and cognitive behavioral therapies in treating the impact of trauma, and help my clients develop sustainable behaviors for their physical and mental wellbeing.

I provide a safe, supportive environment, and a space where you will gain a better understanding of yourself, and build a foundation of practical self-care so you can better weather what life brings.
